/dev node creation

I have added some code to pup_eventd that checks if a correct /dev node exists for a module. It is preliminary code, not yet tested. This will happen for any hotplug event and when any module is loaded.

A small thing: I created /sbin/dir2tgz, a simple script to convert a directory to a tarball. You run it in a terminal like this:
