'ALL' is back in PPM

May 14, 2010 — BarryK
The Puppy Package Manager in Puppy 4.3.1 has an 'ALL' radiobutton, to display all packages in a repository. I have brought that back for Quirky.

I took it out earlier when building Upup and Dpup as the Debian and Ubuntu repositories are enormous -- the list is so long that it chokes gtkdialog.

I have modified the Puppy Package Manager to display the 'ALL' radiobutton for 'puppy' and 't2' (Quirky, Wary, FatDog) builds.

"01591"77.28.172.60'Quirky"Daveyboy"so good....on a separate note...I am so impressed with QUIRKY...have been playing with various distros for a couple of months - a relative newby to Linux, love Ubuntu, MacPupOpera, Slax612...but Quirky has so far beat them all due to being able to handle everything I ask of it...mainly accessing the Internet with a Huawei 1690 3g USB key...worked moreorless straight away, hardly had to do a thing...took me forever on Ubuntu after so many tweaks....now just need to get VirtualBox up and running and I will be a happy puppy...MS Windows has finally seen the end of day for me....keep up the good work"14 May 2010, 5:25"01591"95.75.80.72'Improved Internet access"BarryK"Daveyboy, That is mostly due to the work of rerwin (Richard). His work is in Woof, so other recent puppies such as the upcoming Lucid Puppy (Lupu) will have the same capability. Username: 14 May 2010, 9:05
