Woof uploaded, April 16, 2011

April 16, 2011 — BarryK
It has been awhile. The last upload of Woof was on March 2, 2011:

This latest upload is commit '20110416142756'.

Please note that this release of Woof is NOT suitable for building Lucid Puppy 5.2.5. Playdayz is having a rest after releasing 5.2.5 and will sometime provide me with the files needed for Woof to be able to build the latest Lucid.

For introduction and instructions to download Woof, go here:

So, if you have previously downloaded Woof, all you have to do this time is run this in the Woof project directory to update to the latest Woof files:

# bones download

Bones also has a GUI, just type "bones<RETURN>".

It is preferable to download Woof with the full history, but people on dialup or otherwise limited download capability, a tarball without history is available (17MB):

Woof downloads Is it ok. I recall your problem with it and thinking of reverting to your recommended 1.16 version.

"I did revert to 1.16. Another attempt will have to be made to compile recent BB with functional modutils.

"Woof is looking good from here, spup-100 is just about ready to shove out the door! Just a couple of tests on other PCs and it's out. Thanks

"Hi, is it possible to have a skip point in the 3builddistro? Idea is that it builds the /build directory asks you if you want to create the iso if not goes on to the next step (create devx) I've found it's easier to use the files rather than having to create the iso which also takes up space when testing. thanks scsijon
