cifs and xfs are back
This has been discussed recently in this blog:http://puppylinux.com/blog/?viewDetailed=00013
Okay, they are restored.
Probably a few guys like HairyWill would like to experiment with these in place, so I had better get moving with 4.00beta2. Well, I suppose I could just post the module, but it is nice to have it in the 'zdrv'.
Um, yes, perhaps the beta2 will come out in 2-3 days.

new pnethood version
Barry
I've posted a new version of pnethood (0.61) with cifs support enabled by default. I've fixed a number of problems with 0.6 thanks to feedback from Disciple and Beem

XFS module?
Apparently, in Puppy400, the XFS kernel module is missing from zdrv_400.sfs.
GParted has the XFS format option faded out; and mkfs.xfs command is not recognized.
I look forward to it being restored.
