Pppoeconf maybe fixed

I have been running Ubuntu 8.04, examining the environment that Pppoeconf needs to work properly. I have imported various directories and files into Puppy that will hopefully provide the necessary infrastructure. I can't test it though.

Testing other distroes
Not related to Pppoeconf, but have you tested dslcore?
Seems like they have taken some similar (and some different) paths as Puppy.

Pbackup
The menu description for Pbackup says 'backup to CD/DVD/HD'. But since FTP also are supported and it has a sync function, I use the description 'backup and sync'

PPPoE
Barry,
I will be pleased to test the new pppoe when it is in the next alpha, and let you know the result.
i am writing this in alpha 3 as as i could not make the pppoe work in alpha 4 even save and reboot did not work. Please make the instruction for the test simple as i am an old noobe, and the grey matter looks like Gruyere cheese.
Michael.

updated pppoe
It might be worth making this into a dotpet, so that users can test it now -- they are on dialup, after all, so downloading the whole iso every time could be a pain for them.

Zigbert,
Ok, I have amended the menu entry.
