SCSI booting works!

Forum member Sit Heal Speak is dancing in the clouds right now, as he has got Puppy booting off a SCSI drive:

All it needed was the kernel compiled with drivers built-in, and we are now in business!

And I haven't even put my own SCSI hardware together yet. Sit Heal Speak has mentioned a couple of little oddities, so perhaps a little howto on the puppylinux.org wiki would be good. Especially for me, some notes about gotchas and oddities to watch out for would be helpful.

SCSI?
"All it needed was the kernel compiled with drivers built-in, and we are now in business!"

Would that be a pop corn kernel?

OK, I'll do it
All right, I'll get on it. It'll take a few days.

It might help if Sage will precisely identify the thread where you discuss scsi jumpering.

The frugal install from scsi feels subjectively faster than the full install. But not by much.
