<frame ATA HYPERSTONE FLASH>
Pmount was unable to fill this with the correct information. I don't know why. Too difficult for now to figure it out theoretically. I would have to create an xfs partition to test on, and I have no knowledge of xfs at all.

Barry, the HYPERSTONE is a cheep 500MB CF card formatted as Linux swap. I use it for those (not so good) Linux distributions that require a swap partition, to preserve the bigger 4GB TRANSCEND CF card. The XFS partition is on the TRANSCEND, sda1 on my system. Tried it now with Puppy301 pmount is working but that partition is not detected, I think there is no XFS module there, modprobe xfs returns an error.
Thanks for your help, maybe just adding an explanation pop up in pmount for that situation is sufficient.

Re: cf swap
Hmm, odd. Pmount should not even have created the <frame> tag for that drive.
Can you please post the output of 'probepart' here? (and identify which one is the HYPERSTONE drive).

The HYPERSTONE is sdb1

Re: cf swap again
Ah, I think that I know what the problem is! Maybe. Pmount does not expect to encounter a drive that has only a swap partition, nothing else. Ok, I'll check the logic of it tonight.
