I was unable to compile it in 415+, tried both 'bk_compile' and 'waf' methods. So staying with beta5.
SeaMonkey Mail and News
The menu entry did not work. This was because the 'mozmail' script was missing from the package. Fixed.
Ttuuxx reported that he had searchmonkey working with gtk 2.14.7, so I tried recompiling the gtk package and searchmonkey, it still crashes. I could use a debugger and find where it crashes, but I don't have time for that.
This is a neat little Perl script, for aligning columns of text. I have had a need for this in the past, and I reckon this is a handy permanent addition to Puppy. I did a very simple test and it worked beautifully:
# ls -l | tr -s ' ' | align
align is designed for space or tab delimited text. Here is the author's site:

What's the problem with NicoEdit 2.0 beta 6 ?
Posted on 10 Jul 2009, 23:35 by Bee
NicoEdit 2.0 beta 6 compiled on 415 with 'bk_compile'
Of course I first needed to update to Vala 0.7.4
Is 415+ something different?

I'm on a different computer right now.
415+ just means a later build than 415, getting ready for 416.
Just going from memory, there was a problem at the second step in bk_compile, running gcc, a table was not defined that was needed by gtksourceview ...that's not much help I know, I'll get back to you.
Yes, I do have vala 0.7.4.
