Guide for Woof

Forum member Iguleder has written a guide to using Woof:

http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=47331

I'm writing a GUI for Woof, but the commandline scripts will still be there, and many users will probably continue to use them. So, the guide in its current form will remain relevant.

Note, the GUI is well advanced. I intend to release Woof with GUI at the same time as 431.

Karmic Upup?
The latest version of Ubuntu will be out at the end of October. Do you have any plans to create a Karmic Upup?

A suggestion
I think someone needs to coordinate a documentation-revamping project.

Even /usr/share/doc/home.htm is outdated, I think the community should receive some pack of documentation files that will be included in Puppy 4.3.1 from you, so people can set up some group of volunteers to update it, especially the guides for setting up an internet connection. Oh, and the main help page, it's not too friendly.

/usr/share/doc/home.htm is awful, many things in it are no longer relevant. And that note from you down there ... someone needs to refresh it.

Some graphics team needs to create new graphics for them, too, because they look very very weird and not so good in my eyes. Oh, yes, and the Puppy logos everywhere must be updated to new one.

I'd be glad to participate in such a project, or in the documentation team.

(and by the way, another suggestion for 4.3.1: a all-in-one 4.3 that includes all modules, all drivers and everything in a single SFS, made especially for live runs and full installs, as a last resort for people who can't get it working in any other way)
