This is the Woof version that has been used to build Quirky 005.

I have also updated the Quirky PET packages at ibiblio.org.

zdrv cutter
with some help from amigo, I put together a zdrv cutter... may be useful for quirky & building for a specific platform - or added option in the remaster script

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=51450

basically it builds a z${PREFIX1CHAR}${DISTRO_VERSION}${KERNEL3CHARS}.sfs with only the modules you have loaded

the zdrv looks good, but need to reboot to test it

pupRadio 0.5
01micko,
I have upgraded the pupRadio PET package at the Quirky repository on ibiblio.org (will be uploaded soon), so it will be in the next build of Quirky.

iso image booting
grub4dos has an amazing feature of allowing to boot an 'iso' image directly (more precise it mounts the iso file and load vmlinuz & initrd from inside ). Some newer distros (like ubuntu) have modified their init script accordingly to continue the iso booting process. this should be amazing for puppy linux too, to start, test directly from iso image, not even frugal install needed. To achieve this is needed to pass with an kernel argument the exact path of the iso image, and to mount it and load from there pup_xxx.sfs & zdrv files and (not mandatory) to include it in too in the searching path list for the rest of pup_save.2fs & optional sfs files. We do not even need to define an new kernel argument, it can be simply extended the 'subdir' argument by analising if it's argument ends with"xxx.iso", meaning instead of an path we have an iso image file to be mounted. Even it sounds simple this modification should be made by someone qualified to touch the init script (I have no scripting skills). Thanks
