uk keyboard works

I'm puzzled. According to these reports, the 'uk' keyboard layout in Quirky and Lupu doesn't work:

...well, only one of those is about Quirky, the rest are for Lupu.

Running Quirky 1.1, uk keyboard layout works for me.

Ah, I see. I was testing selecting uk layout using the GUI in X, also at the dialog in the first boot, both worked.

What doesn't work is the "pkeys=uk" kernel boot parameter.

Ok, I'll investigate further.
