Slow Internet

I have used up my monthly allotment, now reduced to dialup speed (the culprit was streaming media that I was testing recently!).

I'm uploading Quirky 1.2rc, but it is going to take awhile, ETA 19 hours from now. I'll announce as soon as it's done.

Thinking of the future, even with my so-called-broadband activated, upload speed is still only a max of 10KB/sec, so I think that I should upload the xdelta application and build the full files online. I have secure login ability at my host.

...well, will let it run this time, but will plan to use xdelta next time.

After Q1.2rc has finished uploading, I'll download playdayz' latest PETs and synchronise Woof again. We have sorted out some issues, such as missing _DEV packages. So, approx 24 hours from now I'll do that, give it a sanity check, then if all is well, upload Woof.

xdelta a plus
Same on my end, I love Xdelta, using broadband cell phone I'm limited to 6Kps per channel, but there are four channels, allowing for xdelta split files to be faster than one file.
So if you would restart split files, that would great.
