Puppy universal dd (Pudd)

This is an ancient script, I think that the last time I did any work on it was in 2007.

Recently, npierce fixed some bugs in the script (/usr/sbin/Pudd):

So, I decided to take a good look at the script, and found lots of things that need improving or fixing.
Note though, I haven't actually tested the changes -- only have my laptop setup right now, and reluctant to test Pudd on it.

Woof commit:

Note, Pudd is not yet internationalized -- I thought maybe we should test it a bit first.

Re Pudd readme
I want the internal HTML docs to be viewable by Helpsurfer, the builtin HTML viewer, which does not support anything HTML5-specific.

But, setting text-width is easy, just need everything inside a table. I have now done that.

re re Pudd readme
Does basichtmlviewer render Pudd.htm not very nicely?

There isn't anything specific with html5, see http://fortuito.us/diveintohtml5/ please.

max-width is CSS and does what it means: You can have smaller width without scroll bar
and on wide screen its easier to read.
