newsNew theme for upcoming EasyOS 1.0
EasyOS version 1.0 is nearly here, and I reckon it should have a
new theme. I want to use the LaGaDesk BlueNight desktop icons, for which
we have a PET. Well, there are some variations of them around.
I don't know who created the original PET, but he/she obtained the
icons from a set created by LaGaDesk at deviantart.com. After that,
Puppy Forum members 'starhawk' and 'OscarTalks' improved some of them
and brought out a new PET. That is the PET that I have been using.
However, EasyOS needs a couple more icons that are not in the PET, so
I went looking for the original set created by LaGaDesk. Alas, it is no
more. So, I posted a request to the Puppy Forum. And oh joy, 'perdido'
found it:

In deciding on a "new" theme, I looked back at old pup releases.
Precise Puppy 5.6 has a very nice deep-blue theme, and uses the LaGaDesk
BlueNight icons. Using the same JWM and GTK themes, and have found a
new wallpaper. It looks good.
