Mplayer test (yet again)

Thanks for the advice to use 'dvdnav://' to get the DVD menu.

I compiled Mplayer with external libdvdread and libdvdnav (Ubuntu packages) and when I run 'gmplayer dvdnav://' I do get the preliminary menu, but that's it. It starts up with the usual "Warning MVs not available" then get the menu but it doesn't work past that that point. Mouse selection has no effect, no does any keyboard action.

For example, I try the left-arrow key, get this:

dvdnav_stream, seeking to 9484288 failed: Cannot seek in a still frame.

Even pressing the ENTER key does nothing, it is stuck on the menu.
