SeaMonkey 2.0 quibbles

For day-to-day usability I'm not so happy with SM 2.0 compared with 1.1.18. Three quibbles:

1. Keeps asking if want to remember password, even when I reply "never for this site".
2. Sometimes at startup, SM apologises that previous session did not close down properly and do I want to restart with previous session or a new session. However, I did close SM down properly previously.
3. SM remembers form and search entries. Trouble is, when I login to gmail, I type my username and SM displays it in a drop-down list which covers the password field. The drop-down won't go away unless I click elsewhere. Annoying. I changed Preferences to not remember form and search history.

So, I don't think SM 2.0 is quite ready for prime-time.

To get the man command to find local man pages in Puppy 4.3.1 scsi, I had to replace it with the man script file from Puppy 4.2.1 and change the last line to the line from the original man script in Puppy 4.3.1 scsi. Also, the man.conf file seems to be wasted space since your script does not seem to use it at all.

After several weeks of usage I noticed on both Puppy and Ubuntu - which I have also been using - Seamonkey crashes - possibly because of the latest Flash. In particular I can watch only half a program in BBC Iplayer before the system freezes (possibly some memory nonsense that is renowned in the Firefox core and still is not quite resolved) BUT 1.1.18 as in Puppy 4.3.1 is very stable even with the latest Flash. Congratulations to your daughter on the woof logo :)
