Hi Barry I upgraded pupRadio to 0.5.2 so now it autodetects the defaultmediaplayer.. and it accommodates dpup too.. gposil has Ogle as defaultmediaplayer, I don't think it will remain like that though. Might be a bit late for Q 007.. hmmm zigbert just released Stardust 007.. :n_n: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=50016 Cheers

"I am starting to support these: /usr/local/bin/defaultmediaplayer /usr/local/bin/defaultvideoplayer /usr/local/bin/defaultaudioplayer /usr/local/bin/defaultdvdplayer ...what you can do, is if any of those last three exist, then you know they point to something specifically for playing that media. For example, my Quirky Ogle package creates 'defaultdvdplayer', and zigbert's Pmusic package creates 'defaultaudioplayer'. if the required default audio/video/dvd player file does not exist, then fall back to using 'defaultmediaplayer'.

"Hi Barry Good idea... we need those defaults, even defaultcdplayer pointing to pCD or whatever would be nice. I haven't implemented this in pupRadio yet, but have integrated gnome-mplayer support, see url in above post for notes and download. It wasn't without a little bit of trouble but it should be ok now. Cheers
