PPM: package installation bugfixes

Shinobar has done some excellent detective work here, fixing some problems. The main one was the mode where a package gets written direct to the "save layer" bypassing the working tmpfs layer in RAM:

I have placed shinobar's /usr/local/petget/installpkg.sh into Woof.

bulk petgetUsername: zygo
Is there a way to install packages silently? petget displays two dialogues one to request confirmation then another to report it's done. Indeed 'petget -h' request confirmation then then happily reports 'h has been removed'. In fact a bulk installer which ask for confirmation of installation of a list of (local) pets then reports success and restarts jwm would be ideal. Did you not use something similar for http://bkhome.org/archive/blog2/201009/wary-built-entirely-from-pets.html ?
