zzz: Detecting E160-E 3G modem

My Optus Huawaei E160-E 3G modem works in Wary 102, however as it does not require a mode-switch, usb-modeswitch does not get triggered.

The way I have things setup, triggering usb-modeswitch also triggers my status messages, informing that modem is plugged in, then ready for use.

I have created /usr/sbin/usb_modem_special_status and /etc/udev/rules.d/52-usb_modem_puppy.rules to take care of special cases. Only one so far -- my chip numbers 12d1:140c will be detected when inserted and the messages put up.

So now I know exactly when the modem is ready for use after plugging it in.
