Scribus desktop publishing 1.3.7

I have compiled Scribus for Wary. This is a desktop publishing application that requires the Qt4 library. I had to use version 1.3.7 as later versions require Qt 4.6.x and Wary has Qt 4.5.3 (the latest Scribus is 1.3.9).

First install Qt4 (17MB):

Then install Scribus (10.5MB):

Nice job Barry. Also works well in Puppy 520. Just tried it. The QT4 package has improved the Skype fonts - something that has long been a problem in most Puppies. Will this Scribus package and QT4 be included in the repos?

upgrade process

"Now that you have finished Wary 5, will you please work on the upgrade process for frugal installs. You said in the past it has problems and it has been a big discussion in the Lucid 5.2 development. Upgrading a frugal install from one version to the next does have issues. That is the one minus in both Wary and Lucid Puppy.

"Hi tronkel, Qt has a for awhile has had a built in font configure app, The only reason why its not a well known app is because the it has no .desktop :) open a terminal and type /opt/qt4/bin/qtconfig the gui will open and you'll be able to change the fonts and even qt theme, to a much nicer one. Or if you would like to include the changes in the apps, without the qtconfig.bin file make a file located in /root/.config/Trolltech.conf and add the following code to it. "Good call on qtconfig.bin Ttuuxxx. Font control in apps like Skype is now much better in Puppy when this gets used. Thanks for the reduced-size QT4 package Barry.

"It is strange though. I used qtconfig to make the default font bigger, but the menu text in Scribus remains the same (very small). Something else must be setting that?
