Continuing the work in Woof on a repository of common PET packages, see earlier blog post:
http://bkhome.org/archive/blog2/201106/packages-puppy-common-official.html
I have written a script '1choosepackages', that you would run after '0setup' and before '1download'.
1choosepackages is a GUI application that is intended to make it easier to tweak your choices of common PET packages.
If building Debian Squeeze Puppy for example, the file 'DISTRO_PKGS_SPECS-debian-squeeze' has variable PKGS_SPECS_TABLE which has the list of packages to be included in the build.
Some of those packages will be from the common PET repo, and 1choosepackages is intended to make it easy to fiddle with the choices, and clarifies which packages will be obtained from the Debian Squeeze host repos and which will be PETs.
It will be optional to run this script, but Woof users might find it useful.
I will upload Woof soon.
