Pupdial empty password/username

This problem has been around for such a long time! I have often thought of fixing it, but never got around to it.

Rerwin has proposed a fix:

Thanks very much for that, I have put in the fix, but I didn't changed the "Stupid mode" name as I think it is too well known amongst wvdial users and the many online docs.
