PPM: Filesystem category error

In the Precise Puppy 5.4.2 Forum feedback, it was reported that when Midnight Commander was installed, it did not appear in the menu.
I discovered a bug, a typo really, I typed a capital "S" when it should have been "s". The fixed files are /etc/xdg/menus/hierarchy and /etc/xdg/menus/puppy-filesystem.menu.
Woof commit:
http://bkhome.org/fossil/woof2.cgi/info/59d06b8ae3
Well, this is an opportunity to test the Service Pack mechanism. I have created a Service Pack, for Precise 5.4.2, bumps it to 5.4.2.1, has just the one fix as described above.
PET (4KB):
http://distro.ibiblio.org/quirky/pet_packages-precise/service_pack-5.4.2_TO_5.4.2.1_precise.pet
However, do not install it from the above link. When the Puppy Package Manager (PPM) is started, it is supposed to check the availability of a Service Pack and offer to install it. I myself haven't even tried that yet!
SP for other pups
Note, this is a Woof fix, so the same fix could also be created for Slacko 5.4. The same PET could be renamed and the 'pinstall.sh' slightly modified, and uploaded to the pet_packages-slacko14 repo. ...if or when a SP is created for Slacko 5.4 is up to 01micko.
mc won't start
Another note. The problem was discovered with the Midnight Commander (mc) package from the Ubuntu repository, however there is another problem -- mc will not start from the JWM menu. It does start if you type "mc" in a terminal window.
So, how to fix that? Anyone had any prior experience with this problem, or know where it is discussed on the Forum?

Starting mc

"In 'mc' PETs, we have: Exec=/usr/bin/rxvt -e mc whereas the Ubuntu mc only has: Exec=mc Anyway, neither work, and there are errors logged to /tmp/xerrs.log.
