The previous blog post introduced internationalization in BaCon:

In future, all applications that we develop in BaCon can easily have international language support.

There was an issue with non-UTF-8 locales, non-English translations not being quite right. With help from Peter and L18L it is solved and I have updated the HOWTO page. The key feature is the new line in the BaCon code that sets the OUTPUT_CHARSET variable.
