Quirky 5.99 "first taste"

I am having fun with this, so thought I had better get something out there, as others might find it interesting also.

The Quirky "6.x" series is a whole new ball game! Specifically designed to run on Flash drive media, with cut-down software for the smallest possible size (yes, the download is only 93MB, with full suite of apps), plus many other new "quirky" ideas.

Specifically, you need to download these three files, to the same folder:

http://distro.ibiblio.org/quirky/quirky6/x86/quirky-5.99/quirky6-5.99-8gb.img.xz
http://distro.ibiblio.org/quirky/quirky6/x86/quirky-5.99/write-quirky-image-to-drive.gz

...and follow the install instructions.

Please note, this is a pre-release, not yet a public release. The first official public release will be version 6.0 (coming soon).
