The demise of the Mountainsmith Daylight Lumbar Pack

I have been wondering why, what I consider to be the best lumbar pack they made, the Daylight model, got dropped from the line.

The original Daylight was released in 2011, and what is sad is they redesigned it in 2016, what seems to me an inferior design. See the video and comment appended to the above post.

Then later it got dropped from the line. Probably due to lack of sales.

A shame. The only way that anyone can get hold of the original model would be to find it secondhand.
