Linux kernel 5.10.32 compiled
Ramachandra has reported the internal SSD not recognized by
EasyOS booted from USB stick, on his new HP laptop. Forum discussion:
https://forum.puppylinux.com/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=2593
These are his specs:
HP 14. Processor: 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4
Memory: 8 GB
DDR4-2666 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) |
Storage: 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD
Display: 14-inch FHD anti-glare micro-edge WLED-backlit, 250 nits, 45% NTSC (1920 x 1080)
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics
Operating System & Pre-installed Software: Pre-loaded Windows 10 Home
I don't know if it will help, but have compiled the latest in 5.10.x series kernel, and enabled these, built-in:
CONFIG_INTEL_RST
CONFIG_PINCTRL_AMD
CONFIG_PINCTRL_ICELAKE
CONFIG_PINCTRL_JASPERLAKE
CONFIG_PINCTRL_TIGERLAKE
I have no idea whether enabling pin-control will have anything to do
with functioning of a PC. And the documentation on what CONFIG_INTEL_RST
actually does is none-existent.
This kernel will be in the next release of EasyOS.
