OpenEmbedded Dunfell revision-9 compile
I last did a complete recompile of the packages on March 8, 2022:
https://bkhome.org/news/202203/openembedded-dunfell-revision-8-compile.html
Yocto/OpenEmbedded released a minor bump of their Dunfell release to 3.1.16, so I have sync'd with that and done another complete recompile. A total of 935 packages and it took 19½ hours. The compile was on a USB3.0 SSD (1TB Crucial MX500 SATA), Lenovo Ideacentre PC with i3 CPU and 32GB RAM.
Not many changes since R8, just these version bumps:
git-2.24.3 git-2.24.4
linux-firmware-1_20220209 linux-firmware-1_20220509
mariadb-10.4.20 mariadb-10.4.24
mobile-broadband-provider-info-1_20201225 mobile-broadband-provider-info-1_20220511
nodejs-12.21.0 nodejs-12.22.2
openssl-1.1.1l openssl-1.1.1o
python3-3.8.12 python3-3.8.13
tzdata-2021e tzdata-2022a
vim-8.2.4424 vim-8.2.4912
...none of these seem important, except openssl is probably a security fix.
I notice that post in March 8 reported some xf86-video-* fails.
However, xf86-video-mach64-20220206 was subsequently
successfully compiled back then.
