EasyOS Dunfell-series 4.2.7 released
Of course it features the small "difference file" update, by
clicking on the "update" icon on the desktop. By sure to have the
current image file, for example easy-4.2.1-amd64.img', at /mnt/wkg
(/mnt/${WKG_DEV}/${WKG_DIR}), so that a small difference-file may
be downloaded and merged with it, to create
'easy-4.2.7-amd64.img'.
Due to major structural changes, difference-file updating from
4.1 is supported, but there are complications, see the pink box in
the 4.2.2 release announcement:
https://bkhome.org/news/202206/easyos-dunfell-series-version-422-released.html
Some of the difference-files are quite small:
https://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/amd64/releases/dunfell/2022/4.2.7/deltas/
...only 45.9MB to update from 4.2.3. There is a page that
explains updating:

I am intending the next release to be version 4.3, that will be
announced on Distrowatch. The focus between now and then will be
to track down bugs, and not add more features. I will probably
bump Firefox and the kernel (to the latest
5.15.x).
