Limine bootloader version fix

October 10, 2022 — BarryK

EasyOS 4.4.1 has Limine version 3.20220928.0; however, Reynaldo reported that the image file (that you would write to a USB-stick) reports that it is version 3.25:

Booting the USB-stick, in the Limine bootloader menu, press <C> key and that brings up a command console. Type "version" and it reports "3.25". Type "exit" to go back to the menu.

Hmmm, I think I see why that is happening. Should be fixed and Limine will now report the correct version.

Note, it is actually version 3.20220928.0 files 'BOOTX64.EFI' and 'limine.sys', it is just misreporting the version number. 'limine-deploy' was run using version 3.25, then later run again using 3.20220928.0, and somehow it retains the previous version number. Anyway, this only effects legacy BIOS booting.
