EasyOS Kirkstone-series version 5.1 released
Version 5.0 was released on February 26:
https://bkhome.org/news/202302/easyos-kirkstone-series-version-50.html
Version 5.1 brings a couple of small bug fixes, plus Samba now builtin -- in 5.0 it had to be installed via the "pkg" icon (PKGget package manager).
The single biggest change from 5.0 is a new application, "AppImage Installer", which does what the name suggests, it is for installing AppImages. If you don't know or are unclear what an AppImage is, read this:
https://www.zdnet.com/article/what-are-appimages-and-how-do-you-use-them-on-linux/
You will find it in the Setup category of the menu:
The new AppImage Installer takes care of everything for you;
download, install so will run as its own user, add menu entry, add mime-handling for ROX-Filer.
A problem not mentioned in the above link is that not all AppImages will work -- they are not as independent of the particular Linux host OS as they should be.
The AppImage Installer only offers AppImages that have been tested to work on EasyOS. See my two blog posts introducing the Installer and the comments on why some fail:

Have fun!
EDIT 2023-03-18:
A bug slipped through! If you want to use Samba, a dependency is
missing. Click on the "pkg" icon (package manager) and install 'krb5'.
