There has to be a screen snapshot. Haven't decided on the final wallpaper; this looks nice:

The drive-image file is 989MB (MiB), which is good, as I was
aiming to keep it under 1GB.
The guys on the forum were recently discussing how to install an equalizer. This EasyOS V7-alpha has a new music player, with equalizer plugin:

Previously, Easy has Audacious music player. That one requires the gtk libraries; however the Audacious developers have moved to Qt6, and that latter one is in the Debian Trixie repository. Unfortunately, brings in Qt6 and lots of other dependencies that bloats the size of the drive-image file too much. Have to keep the download size reasonable small.
After some searching, found lots of lesser-known audio players. But, want one that is in the Debian repositories, which narrowed down the choices. And not too big. Stumbled upon "Quod Libet", a very nice audio player, written in Python and using gtk3 and gstreamer. As already had both of those in the build, as well as most of the Python3 modules, the increase by adding Quod Libet was very acceptable. Project page:

Although v7-alpha is kept under 1GB, it still has everything including the kitchen sink. Opened up some apps to demonstrate:

...GIMP, Inkscape, Chromium, SolveSpace, LibreOffice, Celluloid. This would cater for most peoples daily needs.
V7 is still an alpha, as there are some issues. "V7" means that
when finally released, it will be version 7.0, the start of Easy Excalibur -- "Excalibur"
being Devuan's equivalent to Debian Trixie. I'll work on it a
couple more days, then expect be able to upload it and invite
testers.
