Intel Xe graphics driver compiled in 6.12.43 kernel
Forum member NNI posted about the lack of Xe GPU support in the kernel:

Yes, I did enable it in one or two releases of Easy Scarthgap; however, on my 2024 Asus Zenbook, which has a GPU that is supposed to support Xe, it didn't. So I went back to the i915 driver only in the kernel.
After the report from NNI though, have brought Xe back. Now there will be a 'xe.ko' kernel module; however, I configured the kernel to favour 'i915.ko'.
If you have a GPU that supports Xe and you want to try it, you might have to force it on the kernel command line, as explained here:

Also have added the 'firmware-intel-graphics' .deb to the build,
which has Xe firmware.
