CUPS setup fix

We have been stuck with this bug in Easy Excalibur; all distros based on Devuan/Debian Trixie have the same problem. From the "Setup -> CUPS printer setup" menu:

Click on "Add Printer" then can choose the printer:

Then "Continue" and get a URI-entry box with garbage:

...it is supposed to be automatically filled with the appropriate URI, then all that you have to do is "Continue".

There is a workaround; myself and others found that click on "Find Printers" first, and the URI gets found.

Forum member rcrsn51 found the bug is fixed in cups 2.4.14; whereas Trixie has 2.4.10. He found the specific file in 2.4.14, and placing it into 2.4.10, fixes the problem. See here onward:

To apply the fix in woofQ2, it is just a matter of putting the replacement file into woofq2/builtin/deb/fixes/cups/REPLACEMENTS/usr/lib/cups/cgi-bin
