Show/hide password checkbox when mount partition

November 20, 2025 — BarryK

When you click on a partition icon, if it contains fscrypt encrypted folders, then a window will pop up asking for a password:

Forum member vtpup requested that there be a show/hide password checkbox:

I played with a gtk C app, with help from Google AI; however, MochiMoppel suggested that Xdialog will do the job. Yes, here it is:

This is now in /usr/local/bin/drive_all. This script gets copied into /root/.pup_event/drive_*/AppRun, so after updating to the next release of Easy, you will have to tell Easy to reconstruct all the desktop partition icons. You need to bring up the Event Manager, that can be done via right-click on any partition icon:

...and tick the "Tick checkbox to erase then redraw and realign existing icons" checkbox.
