Orange-ball apps fix
EasyOS has menu entries for not-yet-installed applications. These
are shown in the menu with an orange-ball icon. These are in the
menu as a convenience, suggestion that these are good apps to
have.
For example, Easy does not have a video editor builtin, but ShotCut is an orange-ball entry in the menu. If you select it, there will be an offer to install. I like ShotCut, but of course you may have some other preference, so others such as Flowblade, OpenShot and KDEnlive are available via PKGget.
Forum member ahen reported that after updating EasyOS, the orange-ball app AnyDesk was broken. I found that the app itself was still installed OK, it was the menu entry that was broken:

...yeah, so you can manually fix /usr/share/applications/anydesk.desktop, or any other orange-ball app.
I found the cause of the bug, in /sbin/fixlayers in the initrd. This fix will be in Easy 7.1.2, coming very soon.
