Puppy on the baby laptops| The "baby"
laptops are ultra portable. Some, such as the One-Laptop-Per-Child, the
Asus EeePC and the Intel Classmate, do not even have a hard drive,
instead making do with Flash memory. They save on cost and power
consumption (some even doing away with a fan) by using slower CPUs. It
is in these restrained resources that Puppy excels. I have
started to create some web pages to showcase Puppy on particular baby
laptops... |
