This page applies to running Puppy on an IDE ZIP drive.

If you want to install Puppy on a USB ZIP drive, then you need the flash-Puppy page.

There is not much in this page, as it is so easy to install Puppy on a IDE ZIP drive! Firstly, you need to download the file "puppy-xxxxx.iso", which you then burn to CD and then bootup -- this is live-Puppy, that boots off a CD.

After booting up live-Puppy, look in the "Setup" menu and select "Puppy Universal Installer". Then follow the simple instructions.
