Temporary EasyOS 3.4.1RC with 5.15.16 kernel
I reported that all Linux kernels released on January 27 are broken:
https://bkhome.org/news/202202/kernel-51610-broken.html
I expected that the 5.15.16 kernel will be OK, released on January 20. I compiled it, and yes, works great.
A tester of EasyOS with a Ryzen CPU has reported getting a black
screen, so as an experiment I have bumped the kernel from 5.10.93 to
5.15.16 and uploaded EasyOS 3.4.1RC with the 5.15.16 kernel:
https://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/amd64/releases/TEST/dunfell/
Feodor sent me an email that the mesa package really should be
version 20.2 or later, whereas Easy only has 20.0.2. That's another
factor to consider.
Anyway, we will see if this kernel makes any difference. The kernel
configuration is also possibly a factor. Also, it is good to read these
Gentoo and Arch pages, with possible fixes for black screen etc.:

I am running 3.4.1RC with 5.15.16 kernel right now, no issues on my Lenovo Ideacentre PC.
