EasyOS Excalibur-series version 7.0.23 released

The previous version, 7.0.20 (originally announced as 7.0.19), was released on October 5:

Since then, there has been some fundamental restructuring, both in the initrd and how sessions are saved. As well as hopefully a fix for printing. Highlights since 7.0.20:

• Direct-save to working-partition fixed — October 19, 2025
• Fix for fscrypt folder on rw layer in overlayfs — October 18, 2025
• Found a reason why overlayfs is flakey — October 18, 2025
• PeasyDisc fix save path — October 16, 2025
• woofQ2 readme file improved — October 14, 2025
• What is Puppy Linux? — October 12, 2025
• Gutenprint installed — October 11, 2025
• Redesign of init script in initrd — October 10, 2025

...there is also a 'readme.htm' to get started if you are new to EasyOS.

Please note that due to the restructuring of session saving, update from 7.0.20 or earlier works; however, rollback doesn't. It can be done, but requires manual work, see here.

There is still a shortlist of possible issues, expecting release of 7.1 in the not to distant future.
